Balance Carbon Pty Ltd

Balance Carbon is an Australian based specialist carbon, energy and broader sustainability management and consulting company, founded by a group of highly skilled and trained professionals including business sustainability consultants, greenhouse & energy auditor's, scientists and project managers.

Our mission is to assist organisations meet compliance obligations, bolster image and broadly transition into the new low carbon economy in a way which builds business value. We approach this through a systematic approach, which has been developed over many years of working over repeat years with some of Australia's leading corporations.

At Balance Carbon, we view greenhouse gas (GHG) emission management as the umbrella or framework for integrated business sustainability. When we deal with GHG emissions, we are also dealing with improving efficiency, reducing wastage and using better business practices to achieve positive outcomes. These positive outcomes are not just good for the environment, but for the bottom line of the organisations that we serve.

We are a global leader in carbon management, as one of the first hundred members globally of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Climate Neutral Network (BalanceCarbon Climate Neutral Centurion, 2009). Whilst we assist many organisations to develop robust and integrated approaches to carbon management, we are also committed to annually measuring our own corporate footprint; minimising GHG emissions where possible and offsetting unavoidable emissions.
